The RWDS Patch

Right Wing Death Squad Patches come in many styles... because this world is terrible.

This is the RWDS (Right Wing Death Squad) patch that the Allen, Texas shooter wore according to @AricToler's excellent digging. I knew I had seen that patch before.

A friend on twitter sent me my photo seen below that I had taken of groyper and Nick Fuentes fan Aidan Duncan earlier today before I had seen Toler's thread. This photo was taken at the November 14th, 2020 Million MAGA March rally. Out of focus is the Proud Boy rally that happened before they joined the march. (See the full set of images here.)

Did a little bit of digging (thanks to the anonymous friend) and the only place I can find this particular RWDS patch was at a site that sold edgy 4chan/anime/right-wing style patches that groups like the Proud Boys and Boogaloo Boys enjoy so much (more on that later).

The site is now coincidentally down - it wasn’t down 4 hours ago when I first followed up on my friends links. Thankfully it’s been archived so I was able to get the screenshot you see above.

The patches were on sale when it was last archived in 2022. You can see what type of people run the site on and who their audience is.

The world of right-wing edgy patches is something I’ve been noticing and documenting for years now, and I think I’ll finally write something on it this week… with LOTS of photos.

Anyway. Fuck this dude. And fuck the people that run that vile fucking site.
